Draw Length in Depth for Sporting
Low mount, mid mount, soft mount or high mount? Gebben and Karen show us when and where to use the right draw length.

Midi mode
Gebben and take us through how they approach midis targets. They share with us how midis are a different feel than standard targets. They often appear faster and farther than they actually are. It’s important to read what the midi is doing and recognize that the come off of the machine quicker than a standard but once they hit their apex the loose speed quicker than a standard target as well.

Hard Focus (Target Reading)
Gebben and Karen go in depth to hard focus concepts in this episode. The faster target is the later the hard focus point will be. The slower target is the earlier the hard focus point will be. Learn how to set your eyes in the soft focus area to allow the hard focus to be in the right spot.

Lots of Loopers (5)
Gebben and Karen take us through a looping shot that we have to shoot later in the target flight. Many people get impatient with this type of target and shoot it too quickly. Watch how the implement a cut across move to break the target.

L-R Looping Crosser
This week, Gebben and Karen take us through a left to right looping crosser with some speed. Karen has some wonderful insight in regards to letting the target connect differently than she planned. Being able to adjust when we don’t make a perfect move is one of the things that the top shooters do best.

INCOMING!!!
Gebben and Karen take us through a long incoming target. Some people call the a “crow”. The show us a couple different spots you can break the target. They also put it together in a pair and show how “singles” practice helps you for shooting the target in a pair.

True Pair Rabbue and Tower
Gebben and Karen walk us through a true pair of a rabbue and a tower target. The rabbue is a trap style target and very tricky. The tower is a nice crossing and diving shot from right to left. In order to break this pair you have to have the right mindset but also need to have some tangible skills and be able to execute. Make your plan, be confident l, clear your mind, let your eyes settle, call for the target, watch the first target break, shift your visual focus to the second target, feel it connect with your gun and watch it break as well! These are the ins and out of what is covered in this video.

Double Tower L-R
Gebben and Karen shoot a pair off of a tower. The explain how to put a big gap on the first target and then transition correctly to the second target. Karen shares a concept that she recently realized from Gebben’s teaching about reading the 2nd target of a true pair. Some very good concepts here!

They remind us how it’s important to mark all of your spots and utilize the same concepts taught from week to week while understanding how to read this unique target.
