Tower Concepts Lesson 2
Gebben and Karen continue to take you through shots of the towers. In this session they work through a Rabbue and Battue off the tower. These 2 targets are very tough and it’s amazing to see them apply the same foundational concepts as closer targets; just applying more space in front of the target.

Tower Concepts Lesson 1
Gebben and Karen shoot several targets from an 80FT lift and a 60FT lift. They’ve incorporated the ShotKam in to these videos and future videos. Most of these tower shots will incorporate a stretch motion at the finish of the move to gain the correct lead in front of the target. Enjoy, keep learning, keep growing!

Teal Series – 04 – Edgy Left to Right
Gebben & Karen show us how the attack an edgy teal 60° angle teal. They both shoot it with slightly different connections and they’re both successful.
Teal Series – 03 – Long Fast Teal
Gebben and Karen shoot a teal target that takes a bit more lead than normal. The target is a fast teal that requires some space over the target to hit it. Watch how they stay on top of the target and utilize some important ways to think about set up to break the target consistently.
Karen does mention at the end that she typically approaches this shot differently than Gebben.

In this episode, Gebben and Karen take us through a fairly vertical teal. They talk about using their left eye to initially see the flash and see bird early as they anticipate connecting. Midi mode
Gebben and take us through how they approach midis targets. They share with us how midis are a different feel than standard targets. They often appear faster and farther than they actually are. It’s important to read what the midi is doing and recognize that the come off of the machine quicker than a standard but once they hit their apex the loose speed quicker than a standard target as well.
Hard Focus (Target Reading)
Gebben and Karen go in depth to hard focus concepts in this episode. The faster target is the later the hard focus point will be. The slower target is the earlier the hard focus point will be. Learn how to set your eyes in the soft focus area to allow the hard focus to be in the right spot.
